Clown
You entertain the masses
With your painted smile
you dance and laugh
crying inside all the while
The children scream
Jumping up in their seats
Their Little faces glow and gleam!
But when the show is done
You wash off your happy face
And walk home with the setting sun
You cry all the way
Because you know you're just a clown.
A Fairytale ending.
And in the end
Pinocchio never got his wish of being a real boy
So he will forever remain
A lifeless, wooden toy.
Her fairy Godmothers did not come after all
She never wore a pretty dress
She never got to the attend the ball.
It must be Cinderella's destiny
To scrub these empty halls.
Alice wished she never followed the Rabbit,
She wished she never opened that door,
As now Alice remains in wonderland
As she will remain, forevermore.
The moral of these stories,
Which end in pain and disaster
Is that not everyone can live
Happily ever after.
